I miss my Pup
This morning, we sent Leia to a pet boarding or pet 'hotel' as we have to travel to KL for work and business. I kinda miss her presence as she is so loveable, despite all the poop and pee in her enclosure. She is part of the family now and a furry kid. Her weight has gone up quite a bit since we have increased the feeding frequency with treats in between. She is active and sociable. On August 20th, she is exactly 4 months old; and immunised 3 times already for diseases. Those who own pets will understand the friendship and loyalty a dog gives to its owner, despite the extra expenses incurred like her gourmet food, toys, enclosure, cage, etc. I will not trade Leia for another dog as we have grown accustomed to her antics.

Bought a MoonCup Yesterday
I bought a mooncup yesterday from Lazada e-commerce website. A search on Google to purchase a mooncup in Malaysia immediately shows the Lazada website on the first page and right at the top. Hence, I registered and paid via my Public bank online for RM 13 inclusive of GST. As I use a pad and tampon, at night, the flow could be quite heavy in the first 3 days. I got to know about mooncup from a facebook review and it was something new at that point in time. I'm glad I discovered it online. This will reduce my expenditure on expensive tampons and pads, while reducing the stains on the bedsheets, if any. Today is Sunday, and I plan to do some work like keying data for Purchase Receive of more than 10 pages to claim GST from the customs.

Wrote 3 articles yesterday
Yesterday was a writing marathon for me: I wrote 3,000 words plus of 1,000 words each article, totalling 3 articles for a travel website with links to booking hotels, Airbnbs, HomeAway, VRBO, Agoda, etc. In my free time, I am still able to moonlight part time writing articles to keep me occupied for hours working away. But I am happy, as I know this will contribute towards my savings for retirement. And I know that time was well invested and well spent. Since I hardly watch telly, this is a form of investment in myself towards my goal of retiring wealthy. I plan to have a golden retirement and not a woeful one having to beg from other people or be at their mercy for my upkeep at the extreme end of the spectrum. I know a Singapore church 'friend' who is a retiree now is depending on the church and friends to be her business partner for an online platform of unfranchise business, whatever that means

Having a Dream Job
Many people will 'kill' to have a dream job like mine. I guess I am the envy of his relatives' kids who wish to have it easy like working at home. But before I had this dream job, I had to work outside and strive it on my own in Singapore and in Penang. Life in corporate world is not easy and it is survival of the fittest. Politics also play a big part, adding to more stress and unnecessary worries. They want easy money without having to sweat it out. Doesn't that apply for most people? That's how my aunt was cheated by daniel lee, my cousin and her 3rd brother's youngest son who had finished National Service in Singapore. He did not graduate, fool around but is now a millionaire, since 3rd aunt was cheated of Singapore Dollars two million to buy a property in Cambodia. She has a penchance for property investment overseas and knowing this, lazy daniel conned poor aunt of her money despite being in her twilight years! I think daniel should be punished! He had the guts to boast that he 'won' S$1 million in the casino! What utter baloney!

Work to begin soon
I woke up today and my puppy was already waiting outside the door of my bedroom. She could sense that I was coming out soon. After a cup of milk with vitamins and supplements, it was her time to have breakfast. But before that I had to clear her pee near her cage. She takes pet kibbles with warm water to soften the food. Then I gave her the gel vitamins squeezed from a tube and shortly later, she pooped at the place where her former cage was in my computer room. We pray for Leia say grace first, before she is allowed to eat her food. This is to teach her patience and not to get overly excited at seeing her food right in front of her. Thereafter, I did the usual work looking for microjobs before doing the job proper of my boss at around 9:00am.

Forest City launches RM470mil IBS plant
GELANG PATAH: Forest City has launched its first Industrialised Building System (IBS) manufacturing plant worth RM470mil located within the mega development here.
The 7.24ha plant, designed for making precast building materials, was built with the latest technology and modern machinery from Italy, Germany and China, said Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd executive director Datuk Md Othman Yusof during the launch on Friday.
“The establishment of this supply chain will be cost effective, efficient and environmentally friendly, which is an apt and timely response to the nation’s call for promoting a green construction industry,” he said.
Md Othman said the first factory is one of three that would be built in the first phase of the IBS base under the smart and green flagship Forest City.
“The projected cost of the whole IBS base will be RM2.6bil, which will house up to six factories,” he added.
IBS is a technique where components are made in a controlled environment and assembled into construction works.

Accountant came yesterday
My company accountant came yesterday to settle the GST payment being the last day to pay for the period of April - June 2017. I had to typed in the Purchase Receive and Tax Invoices while she wraps up the bit and pieces here and there before I logged into the system to pay online via our bank account. She was the accountant for the late Karpal Singh for 10 years before his departure due to an untimely accident while on the way back from KL to Penang to attend a court case. She also asked me to keep a record of all supplier's Statement of Account regardless of the company and our bank statements from January to June 2017. Well, she is more diligent now since our company got random customs check recently.

Shuttlers hope for career spark with Games gold
SHUTTLERS Teo Ee Yi-Ong Yew Sin are using next month’s Kuala Lumpur SEA Games as their career launching pad.
The world No. 22 men’s doubles pair have done quite well to establish themselves as the national No. 2 over the last one year but have yet to win any significant titles.
They have won one title – the second-tier Bitburger Open – in Germany last year.
Winning the gold at the Aug 19-30 Games will be a perfect boost to Ee Yi-Yew Sin’s confidence.
“It’ll be great to win our first big title at our first SEA Games in front of the home fans, but it’ll not be easy,” said the 24-year-old Ee Yi.
“The Indonesians and Thais will be our main challengers,” he added.
Expectations are high on Ee Yi-Yew Sin to make up for the absence of Rio Olympic silver medallists Tan Wee Kiong-Goh V Shem at the Games. Wee Kiong-V Shem will be taking part in the World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, from Aug 21-27.
