Articles to update

Today I have 1 article to update and to be approved as draft first before writing it for Trip101.com. There is a lawyer turned travel journalist based in the UK also writing for Trip101.com. There are many editors and sometimes different people give different ideas to improve on the writing and the article. Leia, my 2.5 month old Pomeranian pup, is getting to be more obedient by the day and perhaps we can save $1,500 from sending it to obedience training by learning dog training via Youtube and Pomeranian websites. They are so adorable and the white ones are supposedly more expensive and favoured. As for me, I will never trade my brown puppy for another. I have grown accustomed to its antics and behaviour.

Keeping My Life Private

I love to blog but at the same time need to keep my life private from prying eyes that stalk all my blogs to check out what's going on. That is why some blogs are better left not updated to protect the life of the blogger. You never know who is reading your blogs and kidnappings have occurred due to too much information being made public via Facebook, blogs and the like. It had happened in the past and that is why I need to exercise caution when it comes to giving out too much information. Therefore, it is not surprising the the US first lady, Michelle Obama banned her children from Facebooking. Being young and innocent, they could reveal negative information about the family that could affect the job of the most powerful man on earth. And I just deleted the public profile of the various blogs, unwittingly giving out new URLs to people that I wish to remain anonymous since it involves money.

SOHO

I have 2 SOHO - acronym for small office home office in Penang and another one on KL, both in my apartments. In KL, it is equipped with fast Unifi broadband that cost $145 per month and Streamyx broadband in Penang that cost around $122 per month. Naturally, I work in my pajamas and travel frequently for business accompanying my partner everywhere around Malaysia. We shuttle weekly between Penang and KL on almost a weekly basis; travelling at night where it is much cooler and less traffic. It is also better for the car so that it does not heat up unnecessarily. Never in my wildest dreams do I imagine working in a home office where I have lots of money on gasoline, car park and most of all, time. The workstation is just a walk away to the next room. I am blessed with this special arrangement where I can be productive working all alone without the disturbances of colleagues or anyone for that matter.

Request for a Cheque Collection

I received a call from my boss that there is a cheque for the company for turf maintenance in a hotel in KL. So, I emailed air pak to collect the cheque hopefully by today and furbish all information including our account number with Air Pak express courier service, the client's address and our company address for the cheque to be delivered. I also included my boss' handphone number in case they need to contact him for the directions to the office. This is all done via sending an email to all the hubs from 1 to 4 including the manager of Air Pak.

My Very Own SOHO

I have my very own SOHO - small office, home office that is equipped with a laptop, internet connectivity, multifunctional printer with copier and scanner, fax machine and a digital camera. These equipment serve me very well as I perform my job in my own soho - right in the comfort of home. I am a heavy user of ink cartridges and paper as I need to print out every single email enquiry from the internet for my boss and colleague since he does not use the computer, other than his smartphone to check emails on-the-go. We work well as a team, prospering the company beyond our wildest dreams and supporting more than 10 workers in this small business.

Working from Home Feels so Good

At times it may be boring, but most of the time, I enjoy working from a home office, small office. The workstation is just next room. Yes, sometimes there is nothing to do and it gets to be boring, but then again without the disturbances and dynamics of the office environment, it is very peaceful and easy peasy. Moreover, I can take power naps in between work just by turning on the air con and snuggling up under my silk comforter. I am also reading broadly to widen my knowledge and to improve on my vocabulary and English which is my main medium of communication, as I come from a family of educators. This is God's blessings that have empowered me to work with an internet connection and find jobs from anywhere in the world.

I Work in SOHO

SOHO is an acronym for small office home office. I have been working in my own SOHO successfully since February 2004 and never look back. It gives me much pleasure and joy to be able to earn an income from the comfort of home and the office is just a walk to the next room. Working in SOHO has been my main source of income with company benefits like SOCSO, EPF, medical insurance, leave, MCs and the like. I am also able to leverage in the free time to blog as a favourite past time. I love what I do now and I am always online on the internet every day at least 3 hours per day. In between work, I can take power naps and sleep under my silk comforter with the air-con turned on. Now, that is what I call a dream job.

Booked Ming Garden Restaurant for Christmas Eve

Last night, I booked a table for 10 persons at Ming Garden Restaurant, Penang Times Square during Christmas Eve on the 24th December 2014. My second sister who is doing her PhD in South Hampton together with her Caucasian boyfriend, also a PhD candidate will be coming to Penang for a week here for holidays, flying in from KL after having spent a few days there. The table for 10 persons cost $1,288 for an 8-course Chinese meal consisting of

1) Lobster with 2 Combinations
2) Double Boiled Superior Soup with Assorted Seafood
3) Roasted Suckling Piglet with Glutinous Rice
4) Steamed Goby Fish with Soya Sauce
5) Braised Goose Web, Sea Cucumber & Mushroom with Vegetables
6) Fried Assorted Rice with Scallop
7) Double Boiled Snow Jelly with Chinese Herbs in Coconut Shell
8) Twin Happiness

The actual number of diners will be exactly 7 persons, but I heard that my sister’s over 6-footer boyfriend is a very good eater, hence he can have double helpings.
