I Love to Blog

I love to blog and make money out of it. That is the benefit of keeping an active blog that you can monetize. This is a win-win basis for both bloggers and sponsors. I have done paid posts in the past and earned some good income from it. The revenue adds up to my total income for the year every December. I keep a financial record on Excel to trace my income and expenditure for an overall net income every month if possible. And I get to do all this in a home office that is equipped with an internet broadband connectivity, digital camera, multi-functional printer that can scan, copy and print in colours, etc. I love what I am doing right now and hope to continue on this activity for a long time to come.

Making Money is Possible if You are Diligent

Making money is possible if you diligently look around the internet for opportunities instead of sitting idly by or napping most of the time. You need to work with your hands, and lift a finger, so that you will not come to poverty and become hungry. The Bible has already taught us that those people who refuse to lift a finger, will go hungry. Worse that hungry is to be in poverty with no roof over your head or nice clothes to wear. An extreme example is the vagabond you see walking in the streets and survive by eating the leftover food of clients at food cafes or hawker centres. You also need to have some skill and a sound mind to be able to work on the computer and earn an income now and then.

Withdraw $400+ from my Paypal

I just withdrew $400+ from my Paypal this morning. This is like occasional allowance from milking the internet now and then. Of course, I also top up by writing articles for a repeat client from Singapore. There are just so many things to do each and every day, that sometimes it may overwhelm you. But you need to do wise time management in order to achieve all the important tasks each day. I also read a lot to spruce up my English by observing the writing style of well-known and accomplished writers. I am just grateful to my father for the sound education that all the Tan sisters got in their impressionable schooling years. Hence, now it payback time and my parents are retired now.

Credit Cards are Indispensable

personalfinancearticle.net

Credit cards play an important role in our lives and are indispensable. They are a part of our lives more than we think. Practically majority of our purchases are made via credit cards. No longer do we need to carry thick wads of cash in our purses anymore just to buy expensive items like cosmetics, washing machine, microwave oven, overseas holidays and such. All it requires is just our signature on the payment slip and the transaction is confirmed. We also don't have to count lots of cash to make sure they are correct before paying to the sales girl at the supermarket counter.

The transaction is easy peasy and convenient to check against the payment slip. This is how things are speed up. For your information, there are 10,000 credit card transactions made around the world every second! This is an astounding figure! Hence, I cannot imagine life without using credit cards in this day and age.

With modern technology and instant bank transactions plus internet banking, most financial transactions can be made successfully in a jiffy across borders and different countries. Today, Americans have an astounding 609.8 million credit cards in their wallets. As a scenario, if all those credit cards were to stack up, they would create a tower 288 miles high.

Also, the benefits of carrying a credit card is the ability to redeem points after a period of time when the points have accumulated. We can redeem for gadgets, watches, cutleries, bed sheets, vouchers, perfume and much more. This is to encourage you to use your credit card more often and various credit cards offer different benefits. Some have cash back rewards, others have travel plans or petrol cash back.

Be Resourceful

If you are home-based like me, then you will need to be resourceful when looking for online revenue. Milking the internet need not be akin to looking for a needle in a haystack, but could be done if you are looking diligently and checking out high traffic forums online daily. The internet could be your cash cow to earn a sustainable income in the comfort of home. The benefits are plenty! You don't have to commute to work and get stuck in snarling traffic jams spending at least 2 hours on the road each day. For women, this could be the beginning of a main source of income during the child rearing years. That is the flexibility of internet jobs where you can work right at home, calling the shots and hours to work on.

Waiting for my housing loan

I am still waiting for my housing loan to be approved since the last few days. If you work for the multi-national corporations in Bayan Lepas, then your payment slip or voucher is easy to process and straight forward. It can be completed in 3 days or so, I heard. But if you work all alone and are the only computer person who handles all the computer work, then it might be a bit more tricky. First of all, you don't have an actual payment voucher to show your monthly income to tally with your EPF statement. The bank officers need to check and go through minute details. That's why it becomes tricky in this case.

Got Paid S$30 this Morning

As soon as I submitted the 5 articles of about 500+ words in length for each article, I was promptly paid S$30 by a repeat client and SEO specialist. The work does not take up more than 3 hours and everything is done online. I feel a sense of achievement to be able to earn some money here and there by milking the internet. This will surely add up to my total income by the end of the year and to be compared to previous years of incomes. Hopefully, this year will be better than 2012 with more opportunities to come in the near future.

Offer to Work on Social Media

I got an offer to post comments and share blog posts on Social Media for an average of 5 times per day for USD 50 per month. Got paid USD 25 as deposit to confirm 2 days ago. I will only start work tomorrow onwards for a client in the US. This is some extra pocket money for me as I work online. It is just enough to cover the broadband connectivity charges each month with some left over. I have to provide a list as well in Excel file of where I post the comments and share the blog posts. This will take some time, but at least there is some income that I can call my own from personal efforts. It will surely add up to my overall earnings each month to be tabulated by the end of the year.
